Meditation

We offer private and group meditation classes. Classes consist of guided meditation where the focus is on the breath and clearing the mind to achieve a deeply relaxed meditative state. Various props and bolsters are available to help the student find the most comfortable seated or recumbent position during meditation. Additional techniques may be incorporated such as gentle yoga movements, guided imagery and chanting. Private classes can be tailored to any experience level of the student, from first-timers to advanced students. Some of the scientific proven benefits of meditation include lowering high blood pressure, reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system, increasing fertility, promoting emotional balance and calmness.
